Giant Inflatable Obstacle Course
Watch the kids bounce, skip, and dash through our giant inflatable obstacle course. FREE to enjoy for all children aged 4 to 15. Open from 9:30 am to 1 pm, and 3 pm to 4 pm on the Outdoor Learning Centre Lawn.
Fantastic Father’s Animal Trail
Celebrate some of Australia Zoo’s incredible fathers with a Zoo-wide family adventure! Get your map when you arrive and encourage your family to use their detective skills to find our animal fathers and their children across the zoo.
Koala Throwing Competition*
*Don’t worry, the koalas aren’t real! We’re talking about our koala plush toys… which are equally cute and furry. Join us at the Cameron the Crocodile lawn at 9:30 am and see how well Dad and the kids can team up. Put their skills to the test to see if they can throw these cute toy koalas for a chance to win exciting prizes! Who knows? They might even take home a huggable plush toy koala from Australia Zoo as a special Father’s Day surprise!
Little Builders Woodwork Shop
Join us at the Outdoor Learning Centre lawn for a delightful arts and crafts session with Dad. Prepare to unleash creativity using wooden pieces and craft supplies, letting the kids create their own imaginative structures. This FREE activity is perfect for children aged 4 to 12, ensuring a fantastic time as they bond creatively with Dad. Plus, take home their craft creation as a memento of the wonderful day!
Rad Dad Joke Contest
Does Dad make your family laugh like a laughing kookaburra? Well, be sure to visit Crikey Café before noon so he can submit his best Dad joke for his chance to win a ripper, Rad Dad prize pack. Caricature Drawing with Dad
From 9 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 4 pm at Crikey Café, sit down with one of our popular local illustrators and have your family caricature created! These entertaining drawings are wildly outlandish and will keep you smiling as you have some fun with Dad today.
FREE Baby Car Seat Checks
Is your child’s car restraint fitted correctly? Did you know many child car restraints aren’t correctly used or installed? Have your kids’ seats checked for FREE by Kelvin Edwards Baby Car Seat Fitting’s team of professional and experienced fitters! They’ll visit the Zoo from 2 pm to 4 pm to help you ensure your children are safe in the car.
